Final : This is the final birthday card image that I've redesign.
Step 9 : For the last step, I make a polygon shape using polygon tool and add the border around the shape. I make it at the center of all the boxes. In the polygon shape I make a flower design using distort & transform then I used pucker and bloat tool. In the plygon shape, I type a birthday quote which I followed in the online module.
Step 8 : In the first box which have a Malaysia flag design, I put cresent moon and a star which represent Malaysia culture. I make both of them using eclipse and star tools. In the other Malaysia flag box, I put number one and hibiscus flower that show unity in Malaysia.
After that, for the other two boxes I drawed a presents and a bunch of flowers using rectangle and brush tools.
Step 7 : In this step I design for the right side of the card. I make four small boxes with different colours which I followed the original design of the other card. I design Malaysia flag in the two boxes and the other two boxes I put yellow colours which symbolize royal colour.
Step 6 : In this step I make a garland and money envelop( angpau). For garland, its usually used
by Indian culture when celebrating their birthday. The garland is use to scab to the birthday girl/boy. I make this garland using the eclipse and pathfinder tools.
While angpau is use to replace the presents because some people prefer to give money than buy a presents in our culture. I make angpau using rectangle and acr tools to make a the hanging line.
Step 5 : Next I design the card with some balloons,candies and stars to show more lively like birthday party. I'm using symbol tool to make all of that designed.
Step 4 : I've make a cake picture to symbolize a birthday party in Malaysia culture because we always know that all birthday party have a cake for the special one no matter what race or religion.I'm using symbol tool to make the cake. After that, I used a rectangle tool to make a presents and some party goods.
Step 3 : I used symbol tool to design flowers and also include one Hibiscus flower which is a national flower in our culture.
Step 2 : Next I make a small box same concept with the original card that I choosed.I put some dots in the small box which also been taken from the original card.I used brush tool to make the dots.
Step 1 : I divide this page into 2 parts.Then I choose different background colours for each part. After that I make a line border and design for left site of my card.
